Villa Vanna is owned by a Swedish family who came to Sri Lanka and fell in love... In love with the people, nature, animals, beaches and the whole ambience!

We, Jimmy, Lisa, Noel and Oskar, visited Sri Lanka for the first time in 2017 when we came for a three weeks holiday. When travelling around we noticed small signs everywhere saying "land for sale" and it didn't take long before the dream of a different life started to take place. After a few more trips to Sri Lanka and over 60 different sites visited, we signed the papers to our dream land in April 2019. A beautiful piece of jungle with palm trees and monkeys, in a small friendly village in the beautiful south of Sri Lanka. And so the decision to establish a part of our life on the tropical island was made.

Bringing our experience as a traveling family with us, our aim was to create a place where you can relax and unwind after exploring the exciting south. After a day on the beach or an adventure at one of the many places in the southwest of Sri Lanka, we would like Villa Vanna to be a hub for relaxation and serenity for both adults and kids. It should be a welcoming place that is fully catered, family friendly and a little luxurious, we hope to give all our guests a hotel experience in the comfort of your own home.

 

In May 2022 we were finally ready to open up Villa Vanna for guests. It is the holiday home of our dreams and we are happy to welcome guests from all over the world to enjoy our piece of paradise! We hope that a stay at Villa Vanna will bring that little extra to your holiday and maybe you will also fall in love with this pearl in the Indian ocean!
